- The Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division filed a statement in February 2026 opposing a proposed settlement in a lawsuit accusing Fashion Nova of running a website that blind and low vision shoppers could not access. The DOJ argued the settlement would do little to actually fix Fashion Nova's site and mainly benefited the attorneys, leaving the underlying accessibility problem unresolved.
- The FTC found that Fashion Nova suppressed hundreds of thousands of negative product reviews for years, automatically posting four and five star reviews while holding back lower ratings from ever appearing. Fashion Nova paid $4.2 million to settle the charges and was ordered to publish all customer reviews going forward.

- A New York Times investigation found that Fashion Nova's clothing was produced in Los Angeles factories that owed workers $3.8 million in back wages, with some employees paid as little as $2.77 an hour. The findings were based on four years of U.S. Department of Labor investigations into contractors that manufactured for Fashion Nova.
